K這dzko Land A Beautiful Land
The K這dzko Land because of its nature is a world in itself. As
soon as we pass a wonderful gorge of Nysa K這dzka near Bardo, in
awe we see next parallel mountain ranges limiting the horizon to
several tens of kilometres. We see the area enclosed on all sides
which is enclosed to the Lower Silesia like a room with windows
showing a garden. Each step we feel that we already left the north
of Europe behind while we still did not enter the south.
The K這dzko Valley and the surrounding mountains are a part of
central and eastern Sudety - in the west, towards the south direction,
we can see Suche Mountains, Sto這we Mountains, Orlickie Mountains
and Bystrzyckie Mountains; while in the east, towards the south,
Z這te Mountains, Bialskie Mountains and The 好ie積ik Massif. In
the north the K這dzko Valley is closed with Bardzkie and Sowie
Mountains. Due to changing turns in history this area was a place
where the influences of Czech, Austrian, German and Polish culture
were mixing with each other constantly. The inhabitants arrived
here from various directions, therefore they are "hard-working,
not soft but hard, reliable but compassionate ... good-humoured
and joyous".
Fourteen towns and communes of the K這dzko district: Bystrzyca
K這dzka, Duszniki Zdr鎩, K這dzko (town and commune), Kudowa Zdr鎩,
L康ek Zdr鎩, Lewin K這dzki, Mi璠zylesie, Nowa Ruda (town and commune),
Polanica Zdr鎩, Radk闚, Stronie 奸御kie and Szczytna are placed
in a beautiful environment: high placed observation points, interesting
groups of rocks, roaring waterfalls, romantic ruins, monumental
buildings, interesting industrial objects. Each of them offers
something else, attractive and mysterious.
